Bitlet applet

Am amazed at how easy it has become to share content online whether it be legally or illegally via torrents or p2p applications. The amount of tools available online to perform file sharing transactions are literally in abundance. Frequently every so often I come across some sort of new way or regurgitated service of sharing content online, but what I haven’t seen so far is a way of downloading torrents without having to install a bittorrent client. I stumbled across Bitlet a fairy new elementary bittorrent down service, by elementary I mean it’s that simple to use for the average non tech savvy Joe. BitLet was design not for the geeky techie person or the person who likes to configure things and tweak settings and customize and streamline things, but for that person who just wants to get torrents downloaded quickly now with very minimal hassles and headaches. Not every one has the know how’s and knowledge of using bittorrent clients to download content. Not everyone wants to have to learn how to use some of these file sharing tools.

Bitlet lets everyone and anyone download torrents quickly and easily, by simply inserting a URL of the desire content (.torrent link) with no local software whatsoever.

For those of you at work or school/college who might like to take advantage of your high speed broad band connections or are restricted to use 3rd party utilities which are not work related then bitLet will quite handy as it lets you by pass the rules.

I take back my above statement about not having to install 3rd party software there is one thing you will need to get Bitlet to run. Since BitLet runs via a java applet you will need to install the latest Java Virtual Machine plugin from sun microsystems.

I tell you what why don’t you Subscribe to my feed to get notified of my next post its that much easier, get fresh content when its published hassle free.
