Making money online seems to be thee thing now they are countless blogs, articles regarding this subject, most of it seems more of information regurgitation, but one thing I have noticed in all the posts and ways people are using their blog or websites to make money is a few people actually admit that making money online is a grueling and tedious process that could potential take months or years to achieve, it doesn’t happen over night.

If you do a Google search “make money online” you’re greeted with thousands of results most of the websites are trying to sell you something superficial, for example websites that have statements such as
“You don’t have to know anything about the Internet or computers.”
“You don’t have to even use the Internet to make money on it.”
“You can just put up a Web page, do nothing, and cash huge checks–there is no work required!” these claims sound ridiculous.
Ciphering through all the crap and telling the difference between what is real and not real is a challenge and a project on its own.

They are many people who clam they make this much amount of money online but actually don’t, make enough to make a living off their blog or less than 10 dollars a day.
So the question is with all the scams can one really make genuine and legitimate money online via their blog or website or through other means? My response to this question is it all depends on how much effort and drive you have to achieve it and the time you take out to acquire new knowledge to help you get started.

One of the limiting factors that prevents many from actually achieving the desired monetary goals online is that people overly procrastinate, This is a subject I have immersed my self over the past few days and have writing an article about on my self development blog which I will post up by the end of the weekend.

They are just way to many get rich quick schemes online that don’t pull through or either require you to pay a substantial amount of money for you to join some membership club. Theirs no fast way to make money online, it takes a long time and takes time to build a readership, to work out how to monetize it, but having the right mental attitude will take you a long way.

Theres power in credibility, if it is online it doesn’t make it true, you need to build your self and become more credible , then you will be more likely to sell or promote a product.

I have listed some genuine ways of how to make money online, all will work if you have the intention and would like them to work if you apply your self in order to achieve them.

Create your own product
This can be virtually anything it doesn’t have to be physical if you’re in the programming field you could create software or tutorials (screen casts) and sell them off.

Affiliate programs
Also known as associate programs this is the process of selling 3rd party products on your website, you don’t have to worry about inventory hosting the product , all you will need to do is refer a customer to the product via a link from your site. When the customer makes a purchase you get a certain percentage of commission.

Write reviews on other blogs

Paid surveys
Paid survey websites pay people money to answer surveys online, which get regularly e-mailed to you if you’re a member of the site. I have seen way too many of these and am quite skeptical about them. I haven’t been successful at taking one of these due to been limited by country and region. Taking paid surveys depends on your luck if you get then great but the frequency of the occurrences of the surveys is limited and could span months before you receive your next survey, this equates very little money more like pennies.

You sign up for programs like Adsense and get paid to if some one clicks on advertisements which are usually placed on your own website.

Paid review websites pay people to write online reviews of listed products. The paid review sites have databases of thousands of products to choose from. Your opinion matters so you get paid for it.

Popular auction website eBay can be a very lucrative way of making money from the Internet, especially if you know what you are doing and have experience using eBay. Drop shipping is quite different to the other way of earning money from eBay
